NCTN Core Correlative Sciences Committee (NCTN-CCSC)
CTEP-registered investigators may submit proposals to use banked, non-reserved biospecimens from Phase 2/3 or Phase 3 NCTN clinical trials in correlative science studies.
These biospecimens are highly annotated with carefully collected clinical data, including outcome data. To ensure optimal use of these irreplaceable clinical trial biospecimens, proposals are reviewed and prioritized by the NCTN CCSC, a committee of representatives from NCTN and NCI with expertise in oncology, laboratory science, translational medicine, pathology, statistics, biobanking, and patient advocacy.
