Jianqiao Zhang, Ph.D.

Dr. Jianqiao Zhang is Associate Chief of the Agreement Coordination Group in CTEP’s Regulatory Affairs Branch (RAB). At RAB, Dr. Zhang’s responsibilities include setting up research and development agreements, such as CRADAs between the NCI and pharmaceutical companies on anti-cancer drug development. He also sets up collaboration agreements between NCI and diagnostic companies that are engaged in cancer biomarker assays. He also provides support for NCI funded National Clinical Trial Network (NCTN) groups and the Experimental Therapeutics Clinical Trials Network (ETCTN) on their agreements with pharmaceutical companies and diagnostic companies. He advises pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic companies, NCI network groups, NCI grantees, CTEP staff, and contractors on technology transfer, intellectual property, clinical research regulations, and NIH and NCI policies related to collaborations. Dr. Zhang has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.
