Jennifer Thompson, Pharm.D.

Dr. Jennifer Thompson joined the Pharmaceutical Management Branch (PMB) of the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) in 2012. Her responsibilities include providing pharmaceutical information about CTEP IND agents, managing their use in CTEP-sponsored clinical trials, and serving as the PMB liaison to the Pharmacy Committee of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology. 

Dr. Thompson is a graduate of the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and she completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY-2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. She served as a hematology/oncology clinical pharmacy specialist at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) for many years before transitioning into Investigational Drug Services at UMMC. In 2006, she was a recipient of the UMMC Greenebaum Cancer Center Distinguished Service Award. 

She was a contributing author on the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) Investigational Drug Service Best Practice Standards.
