NCI DCTD Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program

As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager for the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) Regulatory Affairs Branch, Dr. Dupeh Palmer-Ochieng manages a portfolio of fifty Investigational New Drugs (INDs) throughout the lifetime of the IND. This includes reviewing INDs, amendments, Annual Reports/DSURs and responses to FDA comments. She participates in meetings between NCI, investigators, pharmaceutical collaborators, and the FDA, as well as laboratory monitoring visits. She works alongside other NCI members to resolve regulatory hurdles.

Dr. Palmer-Ochieng received her Ph.D. in Immunology /Microbiology from the Imperial College, University of London, UK. Prior to joining CTEP, she worked as a senior reviewer in the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, and as a principal investigator at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.
