Dr. Sergio Alcoser has served as Acting Branch Chief of the NCI's Biological Testing Branch (BTB) since August 2024. Prior to that detail, he served as a Research Biologist within BTB since 2007, designing PCR assays and providing gene expression analysis to support program goals. BTB establishes patient derived xenograft (PDX) models, isolates cell lines from PDX models and conducts preclinical anti-cancer drug evaluations in relevant rodent models.
