Jennifer Fox, PhD
Dr. Fox obtained her Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology from Cornell University in 2009. Following a post-doctoral fellowship in the Genome Instability Section of the Genetics and Molecular Biology Branch at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), she moved to the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) where she was involved in the discovery and development of small molecule probes and drug leads for the treatment of neurological disorders and cancer. Dr. Fox continued her work in drug development as a scientist in the Human Therapeutics Division at Intrexon Corporation before becoming a NIH Program Officer 2017. She has served as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for the NCI’s PREVENT Cancer Preclinical Drug Development Program, was the Project Scientist for National Institute on Aging’s (NIA) Interventions Testing Program, and currently oversees projects for NCI’s Experimental Therapeutics (NExT) and Stepping Stones Programs.
