NCI Experimental Therapeutics Program (NExT)
The NCI Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) is seeking NExT applications for Multiple Agents for NCI-sponsored clinical development in the Experimental Therapeutics Clinical Trials Network (ETCTN). The NCI places an emphasis on agents with novel targets, novel mechanisms of action, and novel approaches in cancer therapeutics.
NOTE: The NExT Program is not accepting applications for agents in the discovery or preclinical development stages for this cycle.
The NExT/CTEP application submission cycle opens on July 15th, 2026 and closes on August 15th, 2026. The application cycle submission deadline is 5:00 PM Eastern Time on the close date, even when the close date is on a weekend or holiday.
All application submissions are done using Proposal Central (registration required).
