Bernard (Bernie) Dardzinski, Ph.D., directs a research portfolio in the Image-Guided Intervention Branch within the Cancer Imaging Program at the NCI.
Dr. Dardzinski joined the NCI Cancer Imaging Program in August 2023 after serving as a Scientific Review Officer for the NIAMS Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases Clinical Trials (AMSC) and the NIH Center for Scientific Review Imaging Technology Development study sections. Prior to that, he worked as a Laboratory Director at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USHUS). During his six years at USHUS, he focused on imaging techniques to detect and monitor brain injury. Prior to that, he held leadership positions in clinical research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Merck Research Laboratories, and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
