Dr. Jasmin Bavarva is a Program Manager in the Office of Cancer Clinical Proteomics Research (OCCPR) within the Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD). He serves as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for federal contracts, coordinates scientific working groups, and supports strategic program planning within a complex, multidisciplinary cancer research portfolio that advances the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC). He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in high-impact scientific journals.

Before joining OCCPR in 2021, Dr. Bavarva served as a Project Manager at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc.), where he managed cancer research projects and multiple NCI subcontracts spanning clinical biomarkers, biospecimens, bioinformatics, and genomics. His earlier academic career at Virginia Tech and LSU Health Sciences Center focused on cancer genetics, genomics, and computational biology, including studies of nicotine-induced genomic changes and mutational analysis of DNA-damage repair genes linked to cancer. He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
