Dr. Libin Jia joined OCCAM in 2005 as a Health Scientist Administrator. In this position, he helps to establish research collaborations in Integrative Oncology and Traditional Medical Systems. He serves as a liaison between the collaborating parties and OCCAM. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Jia initiated an international collaborative project that highlighted the role of Integrative Medicine (IM) in the management of COVID-19. Previously, Dr. Jia was a Scientific Project Director at the NCI Office of Cancer Genomics. Dr. Jia participated in the Cancer Genome Anatomy Project (CGAP), Mammalian Gene Collection (MGC), and the H-Invitational, an international human genome annotation project. He also joined the project officer team for the Molecular Library Screening Centers Networks of the NIH Road Map, managing the compounds screening projects.
