Julie Hong joined the NCI DCTD Office of the Director (OD) in 2024, where she serves as a Program Officer focusing on data organization and analysis, communication, and strategic planning. She previously was a Program Analyst and Administration Coordinator at the NCI DCTD Radiation Research Program (RRP) from 2020 to 2024. Before joining DCTD she was a biologist at the NCI CCR Thoracic and Oncologic Surgery Branch, conducting research on cancer epigenetics and immunotherapy of thoracic malignancies. She has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and has received the NCI Director’s Award in 2022 and 2023.
