General comments:  

    The acronym "GIPRCNT" is used for time-zero-corrected growth relative to control growth.
This is a percentage of growth NOT growth inhibition.  (The acronym "GIPRCNT" is an 
inheritance from the early work on data processing in the NCI60 system.) 

    For data from the classic NCI60 screen the values are the average across all 
replicate experiments for a given NSC compound across the concentration range that
starts at the listed highest concentration.  The expId is designated as "AVGDATA"
and the counts and standard deviations reflect the number of replicate assays. 
    To simplify working with these data alongside data from the new HTS384 NCI60 screen,
this same expId is used for the new HTS384 screen even though the determinations have
been made once.

EXPID: All as "AVGDATA".   For data from the classic NCI60 screen the average of 
	replicate determinations are used.  For data from the HTS384 NCI60 
    the same label is used for the single determinations in the assay.
NSC: NCI numeric identifier in the S series.
LOG_HI_CONC: The log10(Molar) of the highest concentration of the concentration/response data.
ASSAY_TIME: 2 day for classic NCI60 screen, 3 day for the HTS384 screen
LINE_NAME: The name of the NCI60 cell line.    
CONCENTRATION: The log10(Molar) of the concentration in the dilution series.
MEAN_GIPRCNT: Average time-zero-corrected growth percent relative to control
STDDEV_GIPRCNT: Standard deviation of time-zero-corrected growth percent relative to control
